Three Practical Summer Massage oil Recipes
Recipe 1: Cooling and Relieving Heat (For those who sit for long periods and feel stuffy, or suffer from excessive summer heat)
30ml grapeseed oil
3 drops Peppermint essential oil + 3 drops Sweet Orange Essential Oil
Benefits: Provides a slightly cooling sensation to the skin, relieving summer heat, dizziness, fatigue, and hot extremities.
Note: Use only a small amount of peppermint. Avoid the eye area, sensitive skin, and intimate areas. Pregnant women should use with caution.
Recipe 2: Reducing Swelling and Dampness (For those who sit for long periods, suffer from excessive dampness, or experience lower limb edema during menstruation)
30ml Fractionated Coconut Oil
3 drops Cypress + 3 drops Lemon
Usage: Massage from the ankle to the thigh and upwards along the calf and arms.
Caution: Lemon is photosensitive. Massage only at night. Avoid sun exposure for 12 hours after application.
Recipe 3: Post-sun repair and soothing for redness (sunburn, burning, dryness, and itching from outdoor activities)
30ml Jojoba Oil
Roman Chamomile 3 drops + Lavender 3 drops
Gently reduces redness and soothes, relieves sunburn stinging, repairs the skin barrier; suitable for children with minor sunburn (half the amount of essential oil).
