【Characteristics】This product is a natural plant essential oil extracted from fresh *Litsea cubeba* (May Chang) fruit via steam distillation. At room temperature, it appears as a transparent, pale yellow to light orange-yellow oily liquid; high-quality concentrate exhibits a faint blue-green fluorescence and remains free of sediment or turbidity. Trace crystallization may occur at low temperatures but resolves upon warming without affecting quality. It features a fresh, unique aroma blending crisp lemon notes with a natural, cool, herbal-spicy undertone; the scent is penetrating yet balanced and long-lasting, free from harsh chemical odors. The food-grade concentrate has a slightly spicy, bitter taste with authentic lemon notes. Its primary constituent is citral (content ≥66%). It is insoluble in water but soluble in 70% ethanol. It offers multiple benefits, including antibacterial and insect-repellent properties, odor elimination, mold prevention, and skin soothing. Available in food-grade and personal care/household grades, it is suitable for diverse applications.
【Usage Instructions】① Food Grade: Only this grade is edible. Add at a ratio of 0.01%–0.05% to pastries, sauces, beverages, and other foods to neutralize unwanted odors and enhance flavor; alternatively, lightly spray onto cooked foods or dried goods for natural preservation. ② Household Use: Add 3–5 drops to an aromatherapy diffuser to purify the air and eliminate musty or unpleasant odors; mix 5–8 drops with 100ml of water to create a spray for wardrobes, corners, and storage areas to repel insects and prevent mold. ③ Skin Care: Must be diluted with a carrier oil (e.g., jojoba or olive oil) at a concentration of 1%–3% before application to soothe itching from insect bites and improve rough skin texture; add 3–4 drops of the diluted oil to a bath to relax the body and mind. ④ Personal Care Formulation: Add at a ratio of 0.1%–0.3% to various cleansing and personal care products to enhance fragrance and boost antibacterial properties.
