Product Description
Artemisinin is a sesquiterpene lactone drugs from traditional Chinese medicine extract artemisinin in the peroxide group. Its effect on the ultrastructure of the Plasmodium vivax is mainly due to the alteration of the membrane structure of the Plasmodium.
The drug first acts on the food vesicles, the membrane and mitochondria, followed by the nuclear membrane and endoplasmic reticulum, and also has a certain effect on the chromatin in the nucleus. Prompt action of artemisinin is the main interference table membrane mitochondrial function.
