Product Description
Eugenol, chemically known as 4-allyl-2-methoxyphenol. It is a kind of liquid with the taste of lilac, chemical formula C10H12O2, is colorless or light yellow liquid, melting point -9.2–9.1℃, boiling point 253.2℃, relative density 1.065 (20/4℃), refractive index 1.5410. Can be miscible with alcohol, ether, chloroform, volatile oil, soluble in glacial acetic acid and caustic soda solution, insoluble in water. It has bacteriostatic and virus-killing effects, as a soap, taking spices, but also can be made into a lot of flower single essential oil, can deploy all over the sky star spices, used for the preparation of dried fruit flavor type.

Antibacterial, lower blood pressure. Eugenol has strong bactericidal and local antiseptic effects.
